Stop Worrying and Start Living!
“The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one”
Fundamental facts one should know about worry, from Dale Carnegie’s bestseller, ‘How to Stop Worrying and Start Living’,
1. If you want to avoid worry, do what Sir William Osler did: Live in “day-tight compartments.” Don’t stew about the futures. Just live each day u ntil bedtime.
2. The next time Trouble — with a Capital T — backs you up in a corner, try the magic formula of Willis H. Carrier:
a. Ask yourself, “What is the worst that can possibly happen if I can’t solve my problem?
b. Prepare yourself mentally to accept the worst–if necessary.
c. Then calmly try to improve upon the worst–which you have already mentally agreed to accept.
3. Remind yourself of the exorbitant price you can pay for worry in terms of your health. “Those who do not know how to fight worry die young.”
I so bloody needed to read this.
Thanks,
Sakshi
I so agree with this… dont u think ppl in the west live their life each day at a time!
in india though its different
not many of us live each day as it comes…

Go for a run….works wonders!…:P
I used to do that…till i discovered the fine art of sleep. When you wake up….its too late to do anything!…hehehehe
There is no single rule that works for everyone.. Its said you can find happiness within yourself, but the finding process might differ..
It’s good to be logical and think of all possibilities… But sometimes it makes life boring, very predictable and less adventurous…
peace..
